hunting camp for children of fallen soldiers

Date: Dec. 29th, 2009 - Dec. 30th, 2009
Check In: 3:00pm on the 29th, hunting on the 30th (You must be approved by
preregistering.)
Location: Weatherford, Texas 76088
Hunting Schedule: We will be hunting from 6:00am on the
30th, periodically throughout the day until approximately 7:00pm
that evening.
Return Home: We will supply an evening supper at 7:30pm
Dec 30th and a presentation with sports celebrities. You are free to
head back home at the conclusion of the evening events that night.
Who Can Hunt: This is a professionally guided hunt at a
professional hunting facility that is completely high-fenced private
property and managed trophy size deer. Only children of fallen
soldiers will have the opportunity for trophy sized deer at no cost.
You do not need to own a gun to hunt. All guns for this hunt will be
provided.
Parents or Guardians: Included in this event is the
provision for one adult's complete costs. OSU Tour will cover
transportation costs, food and lodging for only one adult, guardian
or widow to stay at the camp to accompany their child. There is no
cost for the parent or guardian.
Lodging: There is only room for one adult per each child
or family. One private room will be supplied for lodging per each
child and their parent or guardian.
Cost: There is absolutely no cost for military families.
OSU Tour will provide all traveling expenses, all food, all lodging
expenses, and the cost involved for hunting. The cost for all OSU
Tour events are completely covered by donations from individuals.

Criminal Background Checks & Drug Tests: All father
mentors/hunting guides must clear a background check and drug test
to become eligible to participate in our programs and events for

More about our Programs for Children: There are needs no
government program can fill. Fathers who have died in Iraq. As a
component of OSU Tour we seek to provide quality father mentors for
the children of fallen servicemen. Can you even begin to imagine the
pain of a young daughter after her hero dies? Within this endeavor
we also seek to provide “father mentor training” to better equip
father mentors to facilitate the healing process of the child. We
encourage these mentors to include the children when they go
hunting, fishing, boating, hiking, to football, baseball, soccer,
basketball games, to the NASCAR races, or any outdoor activity. This
allows the child to fill the outdoor and sports activity void,
similar to what their father would have taken them on, if he were
still alive. As an additional benefit, this program will provide
military single mother homes the ability of fathering
characteristics for their children filling a critical role for
